Clare has been dancing salsa since September 1999 and
has been teaching for the past 5 years. She formed Sabroso
in January 2002 with Martina Hutcheson. Clare teaches
not only salsa but merengue, cha cha and bachata. Her
passion for salsa comes across in her teaching, her committment
to all her students is not only to learn dance steps but
to “feel” and interpretate the music. With
her team on board Clare is confident that salsa will expand
further in the North West.

Darran has been dancing now for 7 years and has been teaching
for the last two. Initially Darran took up salsa as a
pastime but once he got into it he was hooked and wanted
to learn more and has been taught by one of the UK’s
top instructors where he has developed his dancing techniques
and teaching instruction. Darran says he would advise
all men to get up and give it a go, it’s a life
changing experience.

Lisa has been on the dance scene since September 2003.
She has danced in the UK, Spain and Ireland and joined
Sabroso as a teacher and is also a member of Sabroso’s
dance troupe. She enjoys salsa for its great social aspect
but best of all for the fun!!

Michelle started dancing under the instruction of Clare
Brady in September 2003 and has never looked back. She
has travelled around Ireland, England and Spain to gain
more experience and dance technique. Michelle believes
salsa is a great way to meet new people, keep fit but
above all its great fun.

Evie has been dancing salsa since February 2002 and hasn't
looked back since. She has travelled extensively throughout
Ireland and the UK crafting her passion for dance and
enjoys Bachata, Mambo, Cha Cha and Merengue, any excuse
to dance really! Evie does a mean Suzie Q! Having
learned from the best, including our very own Clare Brady.
Since joining the Sabroso team Evie looks forward to promoting
the dance scene in Derry and beyond.

Deirdre has been dancing salsa for the past 3 years and
is thoroughly enjoying it. She now has a new interest,
meets loads of new people and has a busy social life whilst
having lots of fun.
